Students serve as pages for Wilkins

Several students recently served as pages for state Rep. Henry “Hank” Wilkins IV during the legislative session.

Students were TiRan Compton, Jordan O’Guinn, both of Jack Robey Junior High School; Sha’Keiria Burnett of Pine Bluff High School; Aaron Smith of Watson Chapel High School; and DuShun Scarbrough Jr. of Hall High School.

According to Tiffanye Compton, Robey’s PTO president, the students were excited and honored to serve as pages for Wilkins of Pine Bluff, who was the longest serving state legislator.

Students learned what legislators go through as well as the duties of pages including carrying documents, messages and letters between officials.
