Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary discusses projects at recent meeting

The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary met recently to discuss its December Christmas luncheon and other projects.

Funds from the luncheon will be used to send children to camp this summer. Suggestions were made to improve the Christmas luncheon. President Dede Foster appointed a nominating committee for new officers for the coming year who will be installed in May.

Auxiliary members participated in application sign-ups for the Angel Tree, filling of Angel Tree bags and distribution day. The Auxiliary members volunteer for many projects for the Salvation Army.

The next meeting of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Corps office, 501 E. 12th Ave.

Any woman who is interested in working with Auxiliary to help the Pine Bluff community is welcome at any meeting. For information call Capt. Joanna Robinson at 870-534-0504.
