Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary discusses outreach program

The Women’s Auxiliary of the Salvation Army recently held its regular monthly meeting at the Corps Headquarters.

The auxiliary will have a booth at the Business Expo in May. A television set and DVD player will be purchased by the auxiliary for multi-purpose uses for the Salvation Army. Capt. Joanna Robinson announced that an outreach program would be held on March 29 in the Corps parking lot. The purpose of the outreach program is to inform the neighborhood and others about the programs of the Salvation Army. Currently the Corps is holding “Rock the Kingdom” for Sunday School participants.

The Women’s Auxiliary meets each month September through May to aid the Corps and the community to help citizens in the area with various needs. Any woman who is interested in becoming a member of the Auxiliary may contact Robinson at 870-534-3625.
