Salvation Army auxiliary hears reports, announces officers

The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary met recently at the Pine Bluff Corps headquarters. Salvation Army Captain Joanna Robinson reported that the April 16 outreach program on the Corps grounds had 115 attendees.

The Sunday School “Rock the Kingdom” had 43 attendees. Fourteen young people will be taken to the Young Council at Heart O’Hills Center in Oklahoma as well as Robinson will be taking a number of women to the camp for a meeting.

A television and DVD have been purchased by the auxiliary for multi-purpose uses for the Corps. The auxiliary will pay for 20 campers at Heart O’Hills this summer.

The following 2013-14 officers have been approved: President - Berinda Wallace; Vice President - Carolyn Uschold; Recording/Corresponding Secretary - Barbara Rhinehart; Treasurer - Linda Minyard; Past President - DeDe Foster; SA Representative - Joanna Robinson.

Installation will take place on May 14, the last regular meeting for the season. Any woman who is interested in the work of the Salvation Army is welcome to come. Details: Contact Robinson at 534-0504.
