Program on native plants presented at recent meeting of Epsilon Sigma Alpha


An Irish blessing by Wanda Waring opened the monthly meeting of Sigma Nu Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, held in the home of Bobbie Joyce. Waring was the co-hostess.

Several members said they planned to attend the spring council meeting at North Little Rock. President Donna Brown also announced that the installation of officers would be held March 26, hosted by the executive officers.

Kathey Wooley, Easter Seals chairman, announced that books were needed for the library at Easter Seals. Brown reported that $900 from the recent bunko fundraiser was sent to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

The program following the theme of native plants of Arkansas was given by Barbara Taylor on the viola. She reported that there are 36 varieties in the Little Rock area.
