The Pine Bluff Symphony Notables will hold their annual membership luncheon on Sept. 25 at the Pine Bluff Country Club. Seating will begin at 11:30 a.m.
The program, “Chic, Fun and Fashionable Styling with Accessories”, will be presented by Dixie Pittillo of Shepherd’s.
Luncheon tickets are $35 and must be purchased in advance from any Notables board member or by calling PBSO at 870-536-7666. Tickets must be purchased and reservations for tables of eight must be made by Friday.
A gift basket donated by Simmons First National Bank will be the door prize. Drawings will be held for a night for two at Margland donated by Wanda Bateman; $100 cash donated by Nick and George Makris of MK Distributors; a $100 gas card donated by Knox Nelson Oil Company; $50 cash donated by Dale Stanton Exxon Hazel; and two $25 Exxon gas cards donated by Bill Ferren.
Notables memberships may also be purchased at the luncheon. The cost is $10 for individuals, $20 for family memberships and $50 for supporter.
Proceeds from the luncheon and annual memberships dues help the Notables fulfill their mission as the volunteer support organization for the Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra by providing meals for the musicians on concert weekends; a free educational concert for all fifth-graders throughout the area on Oct. 7 and financial support for the orchestra. The Notables help support a summer workshop for musicians who wish to improve their instrumental skills and offer support to help students rent instruments for a nominal fee.
