PBHS Class of 1960 holds monthly get-together

The Pine Bluff High School Class of 1960 met recently at Wright’s Ranch House BBQ on Dollarway Road.

Lenora Porter gave the blessing.

Those attending were Sandra Goodbar McFalls of Bryant, Jerry and Ruby Wessels Poteet, Marie Brown Jones, Janice Helvie Tiner and guest, Billy Cheek, Bill and Norma Ridgway Ray, Robert and Lenora Porter, Doug and Linda Smith, Mary Ann Sweeney Greenlee, Arlie and Barbara Rogers Langrell,

Linda Smith gave information about Medicare Advantage.

The July monthly meeting will be held July 2 at 6 p.m. at the home of Jerry and Ruby Poteet. The group will host a catfish cookout celebrating the 100th birthday of its ninth-grade study hall teacher, Inez Westbrook. She will also be celebrating in Cape Coral, Fla.

Billy Cheek will be cooking the catfish and fixing all the trimming.

The next monthly meeting will be at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Wright’s Ranch House BBQ.

All classmates and friends are invited to come and enjoy the fun and fellowship and receive their Zebra stripes.
