PB woman receives award for work as USD 1812 state treasurer

The United States Daughters of 1812 (U.S.D. 1812) of Arkansas recently received 16 awards from the National Society, including a personal award for state treasurer Susan Railsback of Pine Bluff.

Railsback was commended for her work as the state treasurer.

Any woman over 18 years of age who is of direct lineal descent from an ancestor who rendered civil, military, or naval service to the country during the years 1784-1815, inclusive, shall be eligible to membership. In celebration of the bi-centennial of the U.S.D. 1812, Arkansas U.S.D. 1812 has an ongoing effort to mark the over 400 graves of 1812 veterans buried in the state of Arkansas.
