PB Christian Women’s Connection to host monthly luncheon

Pine Bluff Christian Women’s Connection will host its monthly luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Pine Bluff Country Club.

The featured speaker will be Inis Ray, a 25-year resident of Pine Bluff. The title of her speech will be “Someone Goggled Me”.

Ray became a speaker for Stonecroft Christian Women’s Ministries around 2003 or 2004. She is a visual artist, having won entrance into the Pine Bluff Art League’s many juried exhibits. During her presentation, she will be showing two of her works of art. She first started painting in the 1980’s, yet didn’t get serious until 2001. She works in multimedia (watercolor, acrylic, collage, etc.). She has received many awards since 2003 in the juried Pine Bluff Art League exhibits, sponsored by the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas.

Ray has been a member of Toastmaster’s for several years, as well as the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA.) She is married to Carl Ray.

The special feature will be Brandy Baugh, program coordinator at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center Wellness Center. She will speak on “A New Year and a New You.”

Baugh overlooks all the classes and programs the center offers. She has worked at JRMC Wellness Center for 11 years. A native of Pine Bluff, she has been married to Jason Baugh for 10 years. They have two sons, ages 4 years and 8 months old. Baugh attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and received a degree in athletic training and exercise science.

Virginia Haertlein will be in charge of the decorations for the tables.

All women in Pine Bluff and surrounding communities are invited to attend the luncheon . This event is sponored by Christian Women’s Connection, which is part of the Stonecroft Ministries in Kansas City, Mo.
