Tri County Rural Health Network Inc., will celebrate Martin Luther Day at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Coretta Scott King Senior Citizens Center, 624 Kiwanis Drive.
Tri County Rural Health Network’s (TCRHN) community connectors will also be available until 2 p.m. to assist citizens with completing contact forms if they want assistance in finding health services, including identifying free or reduced-cost prescription drugs; finding a doctor, transportation to doctor’s office, diabetic classes; or home and community based health resources for Medicaid-eligible elderly and adult living with disabilities.
Connectors will be available to talk with individuals needing health services or are interested in participation in research possibilities.
The mission of Tri County Rural Health Network is to increase access to health care. Jefferson County is one of 15 Delta counties in which community connectors work to connect citizens with needed services.
