The 6th annual Harbor City Festival & Cook-off will return to Saracen Landing April 27, allowing cook teams to compete in the gumbo and/or catfish cook-off competition.
The schedule of events include:
• 10 a.m. — Gates open; food and craft vendors open
• 10 a.m.-2 p.m. — “Kidz Zone”
• Noon — Gumbo and catfish samples; live entertainment begins
• 4 p.m. — Gumbo and catfish judging
• 5 p.m. — Awards ceremony
Live Entertainment will include the Saints of Yesterday, Legoria Payton & Friends, Brian Austin Blues Band, Ear Candy, and The UAPB Jazz Ensemble.
The “Kidz Zone,” sponsored in part by the Pine Bluff Police Department and the National Guard, will feature bounce houses, obstacle courses, rock climbing wall, face painting, arts & crafts, etc.
Admission is $5-per-person, which includes live entertainment and 5 free mouth watering samples. Children under 12 years old will be admitted free.
