SHERIDAN — Grant County Museum’s May Day Heritage Fest will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. In addition to the museum exhibits, the day will focus on living history presentations, historical re-enactments, including cannon and artillery displays, old time music performed by “Sisters” and Arkansas native arts and crafts.
These are just of a few special events scheduled for the day.
“We encourage visitors to spend a few hours with us, touring the museum grounds and taking advantage of photograph opportunities around our historical buildings an our Shackleford Woods Boardwalk,” a spokesman said.
There will be no admission charge, but donations are appreciated.
Grant County Museum is located at 521 Shackleford Road at Sheridan. It’s open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
