After attending a Fair Judging Workshop last year, Grace Willing Workers Extension Homemakers Club has been busy judging in various counties.
This year, members have been asked to judge in Arkansas, Lincoln, Grant and Lonoke counties. Those that judged in Arkansas County were Carolyn and Ray Harness, Debbie James, Liz Crosby, Marjorie Zuber, Connie Herrin, Brenda Robinson and Delores Kelley.
Dixie Fritz, Kaye Richardson, Geneva Gray, Nancy Rosen, Gerry Martin and Bettye Johnson drove to Star City to judge in the Lincoln County Fair.
Many members are excited about serving as superintendents at the Southeast Arkansas District Fair, according to a spokesman. After attending Fair Superintendents Training, they will take part in the the fair check-in on Sunday. On Monday, they will assist the judges by bringing them items to judge, putting judged items back on the shelf and tallying points. Grace Willing Workers will also serve as hostesses on Sept. 28 and they will help with fair checkout on Sept. 30.
