President Donna Renfro entertained DuBocage American Business Women’s Association with several games of bingo at its monthly meeting held recently at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
Renfro is a vice president and financial analysis manager at Simmons First National Corporation in Special Services. She has worked at Simmons First almost 16 years. She and her husband of 37 years have two sons, Robbie and Ryan and a 7-year-old Dachshund named P.D. Renfro is an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and a board member of the Pine Bluff Downtown Lions Club.
Bingo winners were Joyce Ann Green, Judy Kittler, Rana McClain and Elaine Roan, who won twice. The prizes consisted of different styles of bracelets since the players were all women.
McClain, scholarship chairman, reported she had received scholarship recipient Elizabeth Davenport’s grades and she was doing great and met the requirements to have her scholarship renewed for the next semester. The other scholarship recipient, Sarah Grimes, wasn’t able to be reached.
Ways and Mean Chairman Mary Baxter announced a possible weekend in Hot Springs April 19-21. No scheduled activities are planned, just a weekend of fun and friendship. The cost of the whole weekend is $50 or $25 per night.
Kittler won the dollar pot and donated it back to the chapter. The birthday gift was won by Ruth Morris. Tammy Neff and Dewanna Walters won the door prizes.
