Twelve members attended the April meeting of the Camden Road Extension Homemakers Club.
The April meeting was opened by Nancy Sumner, president, with the thought for the month “Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance.”
Vice President Andrea Hartley read the EHC Creed. The handy hint was given by the president and the inspiration was given by Patsy Wallace.
The program flag etiquette was presented by Wanda Felts and Wanda Strickland.
Community service: Judy Cox collected caps to be given to Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Pennies and Coke tabs were collected.
Plans for Bingo and gifts for winners was discussed.
• A workshop called Smorgasbord was to be held April 18.
• The spring council to be held at the EHC office will be potluck May 7.
• A craft workshop on paper necklaces will be offered May 16 at 9 a.m.
Refreshments were provided by Wanda Felts and Wanda Strickland.
The club meets the second Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Whiteville Baptist Church.
