Annual watercolor exhibition slated in Helena

A very powerful way to express feelings and illusions, watercolor is a very popular medium of art. Showcasing brilliant and vibrant watercolor paintings from throughout the region, the 28th annual Helena National Bank Watercolor Exhibition will again open the week-long events scheduled for this year’s Warfield Music Festival in Helena-West Helena.

A reception during which the winning artists will be revealed will begin at 5 p.m. April 30 in the Hendrix Gallery of Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA).

The purpose of the watercolor reception is for the public to honor the juror and artists. Sponsored by Helena National Bank***, this event showcases highly accomplished and professional watercolor paintings. The winning artists will also be announced by the juror and receive prizes.
