‘Say It Loud’ to be presented at A&S Center

Tickets are now on sale for “Say It Loud”, a production by Pen-Light Productions Inc., which will be presented at the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 Main St., at 7 p.m. Friday.

The show, which will be performed one night only, is written and directed by Pine Bluff native, Sandra Kay Bennett-Carter. It will include monologues filled with parody, satire and drama featuring, “The Way It Was,” “Girlfriend-Pretty in Pink”, “Shades of the Phenomenal Woman,” and “Cover Girls Uncovered.” Debuting live on stage will be some of “Pine Bluff’s most progressive leading ladies,” according to a spokesman for the event.

There will also be a live musical performance by recording artist, Darnell Thomas.

Tickets are $20 and may be purchased by calling 985-750-8549, 870-592-4004 or 870-872-9456. Tickets may also be purchased at Heaven Scent, located at 2 Convention Center Drive inside the Ramada Inn & Suites.
