Margaret Evans and Scott Smart set May wedding in Mexico


FAYETTEVILLE — Margaret “Margot” Grier Evans and Scott Carter Smart of Fayetteville, Ark., have recently announced their engagement. A May 2013 wedding is planned in Mexico.

The bride-to-be received a bachelor of arts degree from McDaniel College in Westminster, Md., and a nursing degree from Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, Md. She is currently employed as an emergency room nurse in Fayetteville. Her parents are Maggie and Doug Stubee of Centreville, Md., and Vic and Susan Evans of Severna Park, Md. Her grandparents are Jody and the late Todd Grier of Salisbury, Md., and the late Ellen and Ed Evans of Salisbury, Md.

The groom-to-be received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and is currently studying civil engineering there. His parents are Deborah Smart of Little Rock, Ark., and Roger Smart of Hot Springs, Ark. His grandparents are the late Opal and T.J. Scott of Pine Bluff, Ark., Richard and the late Lynne Smart of Pine Bluff, Ark.
