Laura Harper and Aaron Brown to wed in March

Ms. Janet Milligan of White Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Harper of White Hall announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Laura Whitney Harper, to Aaron Kyle Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Brown of White Hall.

An evening wedding is planned by the couple for Friday, March 23, 2012, at 6 p.m. The double ring ceremony will be held at the First Baptist Church of White Hall and will be officiated by Paul Williams, pastor of First Baptist Church of White Hall.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kenneth and June Wheeler of White Hall, Doris Harper of White Hall and the late Fred Harper. She is a 2008 graduate of White Hall High School and will graduate in May 2012 from SEARK College with a associate of applied science degree. She is currently a program assistant at the Child, Youth, and School Services, located at the Pine Bluff Arsenal.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Emma Welch, and the late Morley Welch and Felix and Mary Ella Brown. He is a 2008 graduate of White Hall High School and graduated in May 2011 from SEARK College with a associate of architectural and mechanical drafting degree. He is currently a drafter with the Stant Corporation.

According to a family spokesman, friends and relatives are invited to attend the ceremony and reception immediately following the service at the First Baptist Church Activities building.
