Wendell and Norma Hayden will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 2 with a reception to be held at the First Baptist Church in Fayetteville at 9 a.m.

The couple were married Sept. 1,1962. She is the former Norma Lennox and a retired teacher’s aide. He is retired from the International Paper Company. They are the parents of Donna Lyles of Fayetteville and John Hayden of White Hall. The couple have five grandchildren.
