LaTreshia Cole and Lucas Linsy exchange wedding vows

Miss LaTreshia Cole and Mr. Lucas Linsy were united in marriage on Saturdav, April 21, 2012, at three o’clock in the afternoon at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, in Pine Bluff, Ark. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. John Farris, uncle of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Lashawna Farris and Mr. Alfonso Davenport of Pine Bluff, Ark. She is the granddaughter of the late Willie Farris and Louise Eves of Pine Bluff, Ark.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Linsy of Yorktown, Ark. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Num Linsy and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Thompson of Yorktown, Ark.

Given in marriage by her mother and escorted by Mr. Alfonso Davenport, the bride wore an ivory designer gown of organza silk. The strapless bodice was fitted with embroidered lace design enhanced with pearls, crystals and bugle beads, the gown was accentuated at the natural waist-lines featured with organza silk ruffles that tiered into a chapel length train. A 282 swarovski crystal tiara secured a single-tiered veiled. She carried a cascading bouquet of ivory, calla lilies and ivory and truffle roses complemented with orchids.

Ms. La Tonia Adams of Guthrie, Okla., served as the maid of honor. Mrs. Tonisha Jones of Little Rock, Ark., aunt of the bride, served as her matron of honor. Both wore a tea-length strapless gown in sage and truffle and carried an ivory calla lily hand-tied, laced in truffle and gold silk ribbon. The bridesmaids were Ms. Jasmine Coleman of Conway, Ark., Ms. Jasmine White of Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Raven Handley of Pine Bluff, Ark., Ms. Ashley Smith of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Ms. Nikita Tucker of Dallas, Texas. They wore knee-length strapless gowns in truffle and carried ivory hand-tied calla lilies laced in truffle and gold silk ribbon. The flower girls were Miss Kyla Cole Of Oklahoma City, Okla., niece of the bride, and Miss Jaydn Parker of Little Rock, Ark.

Mr. Corenthia Linsy of Yorktown, Ark., brother of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Trent Baker of Yorktown, Ark., Mr. Cedric Thompson of Yorktown, Ark., and Mr. Jamiel Thompson of Yorktown, Ark. The ring bearer was Mr. Lucas Linsy Jr., son of the bride and groom.

The bride is a graduate of Watson Chapel High School in Pine Bluff, Ark., and is currently working toward a degree in biology and psychology.

The groom is a graduate of Grady High School. He is currently employed at Evergreen Packaging. The couple will reside in Pine Bluff, Ark.
