Kathryn Cash and Charles Smith unite in holy matrimony

First United Methodist Church, Pine Bluff, was the setting at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 28, for the marriage of Kathryn Lee Cash and Charles Payton Smith. The Rev. David M. Fleming officiated.

Parents of the bride are Walter and Terri Cash of Pine Bluff. Maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Ray Jones of Pine Bluff. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Frances Theodore (Ted) Cash of Pine Bluff.

Parents of the groom are Danny Smith of North Little Rock and Cynthia Smith of North Little Rock. Maternal grandparents are Elizabeth Ann Farrar Dunn of West Monroe, La., and the late Wayburn Kelly Farrar of Farmerville, La., and the late Jack Edward Dunn of West Monroe, La. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joe T. Smith of North Little Rock.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a strapless gown of silk taffeta with a mermaid, asymmetrical silhouette. The fitted bodice had a sweetheart neckline with ruching detail. A cathedral length train and a chapel length veil followed the bride as she walked. She carried a hand-tied all white bouquet of hydrangeas, roses, and lisianthus accentuated by green hypericum berries and tied with white ribbon.

Molly Ann Manning of Chicago, Ill., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Christine Barnes, Katherine Elizabeth Busby and Sara Danielle Daugherty of Little Rock; Chelsea Elizabeth Smith, sister of the groom, of North Little Rock; Alexandra Constantina Kosmitis of Fayetteville; Casey Lynn Hooker and Emily Lynn Toole of Memphis, Tenn.; Kara Ann Hilliard of Chicago, Ill.; and Virginia Law Hock of Plano, Texas. They wore strapless formal gowns of dark champagne taffeta, and carried bouquets of white hydrangeas, roses, and lisianthus accented with green hypericum berries and tied with white ribbon. Carrying a basket of white rose petals, Macy Emmerson Boswell, cousin of the groom, of North Little Rock served as flower girl. Serving in the house party were Jennifer Ruth Jones, cousin of the bride, of Santa Monica, Calif., and Kristin Kay Schnebly of Little Rock.

Attending the groom as best man was Danny Charles Smith, father of the groom, of North Little Rock. Groomsmen were Derek Russell Bailey, Jared James Coleman, George Campbell Glover and Kevin Leon Walker of North Little Rock; Tyler John Pierce of Little Rock; Matthew Alan Imhoff and Christopher Key Cash, brother of the bride, of Fayetteville; John Stephen Tipton of Cabot; and Quinten Johnson Whiteside of Washington, D.C. Serving as ushers were Justin Alan Foshee, Daniel Hunter Pledger and Britt Douglas Stewart, cousin of the groom, of North Little Rock; Nick Jared Nabholz and Channin Austin Tacito of Fayetteville.

The vocalists were Arturo Matthew Soto, Benjamin R. Trevino, Joel Thomas Anderson, Jacob T. Hurley of Pine Bluff and Jennifer Simpson Weems of Trenton, Tenn. William H. Fox Jr. served as organist.

A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at Pine Bluff Country Club. The band Memphis Soul Revue of Memphis, Tenn., entertained the guests.

Following a surprise honeymoon, Mr. and Mrs. Smith will make their home in North Little Rock, where she is a medical sales representative for Wright Medical Technology Inc., and he is restoration production manager for Metro Disaster Specialists.
