Rev. Mike Snell blessed Jenna Lee Pearce and William Hudson Smart in marriage on Friday, Feb. 24 at First Christian Church in Pine Bluff.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ross Gammill of Hot Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lee Pearce Jr. of Pine Bluff. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Martha Sue Pearce Bost and the late Donald Lee (Pee Wee) Pearce,) and the late Mr. and Mrs. James F. Yancey.
Mr. Smart is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lee Smart Jr., of Pine Bluff. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Smart, and Mrs. A. W. O’Keefe and the late Mr. O’Keefe.
The bride was escorted by her father while a gathering of relatives and intimate friends witnessed the ceremony. She was preceded by the maid of honor, her sister, Elizabeth Ashley Pearce. The bride wore a candlelight strapless satin princess gown followed by a train of satin covered buttons flowing along the back of the dress. She wore a strand of antique pearls and pearl earrings that were borrowed from her grandmother, Mrs. Pearce. Her bouquet was of fresh roses that were ivory, pastel pink and yellow. Mr. Smart was attended by the best man, his brother, Richard Lee Smart III.
After the double-ring ceremony, a lovely reception was held at Pine Bluff Country Club.
Mr. and Mrs. Smart will reside in Pine Bluff.
