Dorthy Washington and Antonio Caldwell exchange wedding vows


Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Caldwell announce their union in marriage was conducted on April 28, 2012, at the Christian Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 19130 Bauman, Detroit, Mich., where the Rev. Ronald Ramsey III, pastor, officiated the wedding ceremony.

Antonio Caldwell is the son of Roy Charles Caldwell, Detroit, Mich., and Versa Lee Miller, El Dorado, Ark. Antonio is the father of four children and three grandchildren. Antonio is a 1981 graduated of El Dorado High School. He attended South Arkansas Community College, El Dorado, Ark., where he majored in criminal justice. Antonio is also a 1989 graduate from the American Transportation Education Center, St. Louis, Mo. He is employed as an over-the-road truck driver.

Dorthy Matthews Armstrong Washington is the daughter of John Wesley and Lillie Mae Matthews Sr. (deceased). She is the mother of 2 sons — Wesley (deceased) and Ronnie (Jamie) Armstrong; grandmother of Lyric Olivia Ballard and Winter Lillie Armstrong. Dorthy attended Coleman/Watson Chapel High School. She has a bachelor science in business administration (management) from University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and two master degrees from Ashford University, Clinton, Iowa in business administration (project management) and organizational management (human resource and supply management). She is a member of the Golden Key Society. Dorthy is a disabled veteran, who served 17 years in the United States Army.

The couple honeymooned in Winsor Ontario, Canada and Indianapolis, Ind., and currently resides in Pine Bluff, Ark.
