Anne St. Clair Jones and Nicholas Drew Williams exchange wedding vows


DUMAS — Anne St. Clair Jones and Nicholas Drew Williams were married at 7 p. m. Saturday, April 28 at First United Methodist Church of Dumas. Dr. Tandy Hanson officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Michael Jones of Dumas. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Lamar Jones of Midland, Texas and Mrs. John Delbert Guffey Jr. of Dallas, Texas. She is also the granddaughter of the late John Delbert Guffey Jr. and the late Johnnie Wages Guffey.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Arlon Williams of Benton. His grandparents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Troy Williams and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lilburn Lafayette Beaty, all of Benton.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a strapless ivory gown of morbido tulle and lace featuring a sweetheart neckline and a fit and flare skirt. The tulle overlay was bordered with clear crystal beading and lace. The veil was an ivory net birdcage adorned with a floral fascinator accented with feathers and crystals. The bride carried a bouquet of white calla lilies and white hydrangeas, the stems of which were wrapped in a fuschia satin ribbon. Her jewelry consisted of pearl drop earrings and her mother’s pearl and sapphire bracelet.

The maid of honor was Katherine Britt Jones, sister of the bride, of Memphis, Tenn. The bridesmaids were Heather Saunders Brown of North Little Rock, Holly Kendall Carter of Star City, Brandi Beatty Palsa of Tillar, Jami Lynn Rozell and Lauren Ann Veazey, both of Little Rock. Kade Ryen Carter served as a junior bridesmaid, and Lila Grace Palsa was the flowergirl. Amanda Kathleen Broome of Meridian, Miss., was the bride’s book attendant, and Lexie Meghan Conduff, Meredith Claire Conduff, and Caitlin Virginia Conduff, all cousins of the bride, served as members of her houseparty.

Casey Dean Williams was his brother’s best man. The groomsmen were Kyle Ross Chastain of Fishers, Ind., Patrick Lawrence Hefner of Little Rock, Phillip Blake Howell of Fort Worth, Texas, Christopher Michael Jordan and Trey Matthew Jordan, both of Little Rock. Serving as ushers were Joshua Perry Chandler of Benton, William Heath Griffin of Arkadelphia, Jonathan Emanuel Kennon of North Little Rock, and Dustin Edward Rhodes of Benton. William Cole Palsa was a junior groomsman, and Ty Thomas Williams was the ringbearer.

The vocalist was Scott David Grimes of Memphis, Tenn., and the organist was Kathryn Marks Stimson, also of Memphis.

A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at Walnut Lake Country Club at Pickens.

After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple will be at home at Little Rock.
