The White Hall Garden Club met recently at the Pine Bluff National Bank Community Room.
Before the program and business meeting, refreshments of sandwiches, slaw, potato salad and cake were served in a spring table setting by Jean Boast and Barbara Duckworth.
A plant swap consisting of plants grown by members brought to exchange and share was the program. Some of the plants in the swap were ivy, Dusty miller, Daylilies, shamrock, fern, gardenia, jasmine and seeds of cone flowers.
Joann Gregory, president, presided over the business meeting. A memorial park bench for the White Hall City Hall has been purchased to honor Virginia Brown, a well-known teacher and charter member of the garden club. Donations were made by her family and friends to the garden club. The bench will be placed soon.
