Watson Chapel Lions Club to sponsor spring rabies clinic

The members of the Watson Chapel Lions Club will sponsor the spring rabies clinic from 9 a.m. to noon April 28 at the north entrance of Watson Chapel Junior High School.

The clinic will be conducted by a certified veterinarian. The rabies vaccine, Parvovirus and Lyme Disease vaccines, as well as many other veterinarian supplies, will be available. This will be an excellent opportunity for owners to have their pets inoculated at a nominal cost, according to a spokesman.

The proceeds from the clinic will be donated to the Lions Club projects, including World Services For The Blind and Mid-South Sight and Hearing Services.

There will be a container available for the collection of used eyeglasses.
