Senior Schedule


Lunch is served, and activities planned Monday through Friday at the Coretta Scott King Senior Citizens Center at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park and the Bradshaw Senior Citizens Center, 801 E. Eighth Ave.

Here is the King Center’s schedule of activities for this week.

Monday

Coffee, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, exercise and lunch.

Tuesday

Coffee, bean bag basketball games, exercise and lunch.

Wednesday

Coffee, Nature Center, exercise and lunch.

Thursday

Coffee, fire drill, exercise and lunch.

Friday

Coffee, Sunday school lesson highlight with R. Madison, exercise and lunch.

Transportation is provided daily to and from the King center. Persons needing transportation may call 543-6282.

Monday

Coffee/dominoes, aerobics for seniors with Bobbie Gurnsey, exercise and lunch.

Tuesday

Coffee/dominoes, exercise and lunch.

Wednesday

Coffee/dominoes, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, exercise and lunch.

Thursday

Coffee/dominoes, exercise, lunch and AARP meeting.

Friday

Coffee/dominoes, Traditional Band in charge, exercise and lunch.

Various exercise equipment is free for use by senior citizens at the Bradshaw Center, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additional information about the activities at the Bradshaw center is available by calling 870-543-6323.

Breaded pork patty, biscuit gravy, parslied diced potatoes, green beans, wheat bread, lemon pudding and milk

Tuesday

Turkey ham with white beans, parslied rice, mustard greens, cornbread, fresh fruit and milk

Wednesday

Honey mustard chicken, green peas, whole kernel corn, dinner roll, cherry gelatin with peaches and milk

Thursday

Beef spaghetti, field peas, broccoli, wheat bread, fresh orange and milk

Friday

Chicken pot pie, Parmesan tomatoes, cabbage, white bread, oatmeal raisin cookie and milk
