Bettye Johnson, Fellowship/Education Committee chairman, arranged for the group to spend the morning touring Garvan Gardens. Spring was in bloom in the garden, sponsored by the University of Arkansas Cooperative Service. The group enjoyed walking the trails among the flowers and water falls and exploring the gift shop.

Those attending were Johnson, Gerry Martin, Carolyn Harness, Nancy Rosen, Lynda Toler, Kaye Richardson, Betty Lacy, Brenda Robinson, Deloris Kelly, Elizabeth Crosby, Debbie James, Mary Smith, Connie Herrin, Marjorie Zuber from Grace Willing Workers and Marnette Reed, Jo Ann Carr, Cheri Aronowitz, Catherine Atkinson, Sarah Payton, Patsy Glover and Kay Cromwell from White Hall Willing Workers.

The group had lunch at Olive Garden Restaurant, where they enjoyed Italian food. The afternoon was filled with shopping before returning home.
