WHITE HALL — The engagement of Brittni Lynn Stephens to Alex Caulder Fitzhugh is announced by their parents, Debbie Stephens of White Hall and Mike and Ann Fitzhugh of Fort Smith.
A 6:30 p.m. ceremony is planned June 2 at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Smith.
Ms. Stephens is also the daughter of Jim Stephens of White Hall, and granddaughter of Catherine Storz and the late James Storz of Pine Bluff and Donna Stephens and the late Carol Stephens of Mountain View. A graduate of White Hall High School, she has a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Arkansas. She was an Arkansas Razorback cheerleader while at the university.
Mr. Fitzhugh is the grandson of the late H.L. and Cherry Lubker of Bald Knob and the late Vernon and Clara Fitzhugh of Fayetteville. A graduate of Southside High School, he has a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Arkansas, and is currently attending UT College of Dentistry. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity at the University of Arkansas.
