Voting rights under attack

Editor, The Commercial:

I’m writing in response to the Public Forum article D’eja Vu: 1964 in Pine Bluff, 16 April.

Voting rights are under attack in Pine Bluff. When I went to vote, in front of a building were signs that said Vote Black. The signs were not taken down; they just moved them across the street.

Look at how they attack our mayor and the city council. Every time they do something, the race card is used against them.

It’s time to put the concerns for the city first and the character of the people we’re voting for first.
