Annie Hobbs

CONWAY - Annie Louise Woods Hobbs, 81, of Conway passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014. She was born in Rison, Ark. on September 25, 1933, to the late William Jesse Woods and Minola Hall Woods. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Caldwell Hobbs and her brother Odell Woods. Annie was of Baptist Faith. She enjoyed gardening and loved all kinds of animals especially her pets, Buddy and Linda Ann. She is survived by her son, Guy Hobbs and his late wife Megan of Conway; daughter Cissy Jones (Bill) of Vilonia; three grandchildren, Gabe Mayhan (Kathryn), Katy Walsh (Jason), Ty Mayhan (Nancy) and Mathey Jones. Six great-grandchildren, William, Nathanial, Caroline, Madeline and Hunter Walsh and Sam Mayhan.

CONWAY - Pastor June Elizabeth Johnson White entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 17, 2014 surrounded by her love ones in Conway, Arkansas. She was born June 4, 1940 to the late James and Nona Johnson Sr. in Wabbaseka, Arkansas.

Diana Cunnigham

LITTLE ROCK - Diane Lynn Thomas Cunningham, of Little Rock, passed away October 8, 2014 after a courageous six yearlong battle with various cancers; Diane took her last breath while in the arms of her best friend and loving husband, Glenn. As Diane had wished, her last hours were spent at her beloved home. Throughout her horrible ordeal Diane never complained about her endless pain. Instead, she was always concerned about how others felt. She leaves a void that will never be filled. Diane was born, November 3, 1950, in Pine Bluff, AR., to John and Aline Thomas (predeceased). She was soon joined by a sister Sheila Ann Thomas (predeceased), and her brother, Frank Walter Thomas, of Angleton, TX who survives her. In addition to Glenn Russell, her loving husband of almost 40 years, Diane is survived by her step-son Kyle Russell Cunningham and wife, SonMi, of Lawton, OK; sister-in-law, Donna Anderson, of North Little Rock, Florence Powell , of Conway, brother-in-law Fred Cunningham, of Edmond, OK, and Joe Bob Cunningham, of Foley, AL. She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Norma Cunningham, of North Little Rock. She is also survived by her uncle, Robert Galster, of Star City, AR, and her aunt, Colleen Reaves and husband Harry, of Canton, TX. Numerous cousins and their children also mourn her loss. Diane is also mourned by three very dear girlfriends: Phyllis Nunnley, of Maumelle; Judy Winters, of Maumelle, and Candy Golden, of Montgomery, AL. As a member of the D & D Book Club for over 20 years, Diane loved to host her fellow readers.A very special thanks to Dr. Rhonda Gentry and her nurse, Cathy, and the nurses on 5T and 10th floor Cancer at Baptist Hospital.
