NEW EDINBURG - Thomas Erwin Dyer, age 89, of New Edinburg, AR died Sunday October 5 Survivors are his wife Ethel Brown Dyer. Four sons Glenn Dyer (Becky), Pine Bluff, Ark., Jimmy Pennington (Carol), Don Pennington (Tammy), Robert Dyer all of New Edinburg, Ark. two daughters Vicky Dyer Irons, Pine Bluff, Ark, Becky Briant (Larry), New Edinburg, Ark. One sister Nellie Faye Reaves, Warren, Ark. 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

Jerry Lee Grandy was born in Pine Bluff on November 24, 1958. He was the fourth child born to Rufus and Hattie Grandy. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Pleasant AME Church.

James Lowery

SHERIDAN - James W. Junior Lowery “Catfish”, 60, of Sheridan, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014. He was the son Marsia Lowery and the late James Lowery Sr. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Lowery Huber. Survivors include his son, Matthew Lowery (Candace), daughter, Julie Lowery; two stepdaughters, Pimpaka Kongphasuk “Kloy” and Sopitnapa Somsak “Donna”; one brother, Toney Lowery (Sandy); four grandchildren, Dallas, Devin, Nate, and Lilly; one niece, Tonya Jones; and one nephew, David Lowery; and numerous great nieces and nephews. James graduated from Dollarway High School and was employed by Delta Natural Kraft for 42 years.
