Arnold Lee Brann, age 59, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Brann was born April 1, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, a son of Mary Frances Andrews Brann and the late Arnold Lee Brann, Sr.

Vivian Dutton

PALMYRA - The angels came for Vivian Louise Moring Dutton, age 92 of Palmyra, Ark., Thursday, January 29, 2015. She passed from this life at Lincoln Heights Healthcare in Star City. Vivian was born March 8, 1922, in the McClum community (Indian Bayou) in Jefferson County to the late J.C. and Ponnie Moring. She was a homemaker who loved her family. She loved cooking for them and anyone else that came by. Hamburgers and breakfasts were her specialty. Mother loved going to Lake Chicot fishing and camping with her family. She enjoyed gardening, canning and sewing. The love of her life was serving Jesus Christ and her family. She knew many songs by heart which she sang until death. Vivian was a member of the Church of Christ at Grady, Ark.

Roger Wilson

EL DORADO - Roger Clayton Wilson, age 50, of El Dorado, Ark., died Wednesday January 14 in El Dorado. Born February 13, 1964 to the late James Franklin Wilson and Vannie Sue Childs Wilson of El Dorado, Ark., he was a substitute school teacher and a Baptist.

Frank Persons

ORLAND, ILL. - Franky Joe Persons, 74 of Orland Park, Ill. formerly of Lincoln County, Ark. passed away January 15, 2015. He was born July 18, 1940, the son of Willie Harvey Persons and Nancy Eva Thomas Persons. His parents, and two sons, Edward Wayne Persons and Franky Joe Persons, Jr. and one brother, Billy Ray Persons preceded him in death.

Eric Peters

SHERWOOD - Eric James (Ricky) Peters, 46 of Sherwood, Ark. went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 15, 2015 when he passed away of natural causes. He was a much-loved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend and made a career of caring for others in his position as a nurse at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock.

Charles Tucker

RUSSELLVILLE - On January 17, 2015, God welcomed Charles Clifford Tucker, 95, to his heavenly home. A long-time resident of Pine Bluff, he died at River Valley Assisted Living in Russellville. The son of Charles Corbett and Myrtle Strahan Tucker, he was raised in Cleveland County, where he graduated from Rison High School. He then attended Henderson State College for two years before serving as an army medic during World War II. He received a bronze star for his meritorious service in the Philippine Islands. After the war, he worked for Goodyear, before becoming the owner of Pine Bluff Janitorial Supply. He retired in 1995 after 35 years in business.
