WHITE HALL — Mrs. Ella Mae Rawlings, 91, of White Hall, Ark. passed Sunday, May 1, 2016. She was born in Hamburg, Ark. to the late Jack and Lavinia Hunley.

Willie White

WHITE HALL — Mrs. Willie L. White, 72, of White Hall, Ark. entered into eternal rest on April 26, 2016. She was born on July 28, 1943 to the late Dennis and Willie Mae Reed in Smackover, Ark.

Andre Talbert

Mr. Andre’ J. Talbert, 37, of Pine Bluff transitioned from earth to heaven on April 29, 2016. He was born April 11, 1979 to Johnnie Dorn and Shirley Murphy in Pine Bluff, Ark. He attended school in the Watson Chapel School district, graduating in 1998.

Andre Patillo

Mr. Andre Tyrone Patillo, 46, of Pine Bluff passed April 26, 2016. He attended Dollarway School and graduated in 1987. He attended University of Arkansas in Little Rock where he majored in Computer Science. In June of 2004, he began his taxi service, Double A Taxi Service. He married Anitra Swain, April of 2004.

Billy Winberry

SHERIDAN — GySgt. Billy G. Winberry, USMC Retired, age 81, of Sheridan passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. He was born November 29, 1934 in Des Arc, the son of the late Jessie Winberry and Dova McDonald Winberry. Mr. Winberry served as a Senior Staff Non-Commissioned Officer for the Military Police Unit in El Toro, Calif. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter. Mr. Winberry is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Francis Winberry; brothers, Benjamin Winberry, Doyle Winberry, Danny Winberry, Gary Winberry, and Tommy Winberry; one sister; and grandson, Lucas Allen Winberry.

Carol Hastings

JEFFERSON — Carol Culpepper Hastings, 53, of Jefferson, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at home. She was born September 13, 1962 in Pine Bluff, daughter of John Wesley “Jack” Culpepper, Jr. and Janie Tugwell Culpepper of Pine Bluff.

Elizabeth Williams

Elizabeth “Libby” Jane Caperton Williams, 87, of Pine Bluff, Ark., passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 in League City, Texas. She grew up in Monticello, where she finished her early education and completed high school. She graduated from Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway, now UCA.

Billy Burks

WHITE HALL - Billy Wayne Burks, 62, of White Hall, died Tuesday at JRMC. He was born April 23, 1953 in Pine Bluff to the late Vester and Bessie Anderson Burks. He was a preacher and a truck driver. He was the pastor for Whispering Pines Cowboy Church in Pine Bluff.

STAR CITY — Wayne Jett, 43, of Star City died Sunday at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born February 23, 1973 in Warren to the late William Charles Jett and Rebecca Brown. He was a supervisor and welder at Central Wire in Dumas. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Glendale.

Homer Davis

GRAPEVINE — Homer J. Davis, age 88, of Grapevine, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born July 21, 1927 in Grapevine, the son of the late Joe Davis and Ethel Jane Taylor Davis.

Norma Rutledge

Norma Rucks Rutledge, 89, of Arkadelphia, Ark., longtime Pine Bluff resident, died Sunday, April 17, 2016. Born November 18, 1926 in Mulberry, Ark. to the late Reverend John William and Carrie Gilstrap Rucks, she grew up in many Arkansas locales as her father preached all over the state.

Victor Scrivner

Victor Threlow Scrivner, 80, of Pine Bluff passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. He was born on January 2, 1936 in Lepanto, Ark. to the late Louis Victor and Elsie Kidd Scrivner.

Marjorie Schwanhausser

Marjorie Merrill Schwanhausser, 95, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Trinity Village Medical Center. She was born June 7, 1920 in Lynn, Mass., daughter of Arthur L. and Edna Stewart Merrill.
