Clarence White

STUTTGART - Clarence A. White, 101 of Stuttgart died November 19, 2014 he wanted to live to be 100 years old; he made it September 22, 2013. He was born September 22, 1913. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Amy Nicole Riggin

LITTLE ROCK - Amy Nicole Riggin, 34, of Little Rock, was born January 23, 1980, and died November 16, 2014. She leaves behind her parents, Mara and Wayne Moody; her brothers, Danny and David Moody and Sean George and her sister, Amber Carroll. She had five nephews and three nieces. Amy adored her great-grandmother, Mary Davis and her grandfathers, Carol Davis and Rex James. She had two sisters-in-law, Cindy Moody and Michele Moody, as well as a brother-in-law Bob Carroll. She left behind many cousins, aunts, and uncles as well as the only man she ever loved, Josh White. Amy was a beacon of light to those who knew her. She was a gifted writer and journalist and was a former reporter for The Pine Bluff Commercial. She wrote volumes of poetry and had a lifelong love of music and photography. Amy was beloved by countless friends, to include her feline friends, Scrambles and Sofie. Her family will visit with friends Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway (501) 224-8300, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Her friends and family will celebrate her life together at an informal memorial service on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 7:00 p.m., at Cross Road Baptist Church, 18900 Congo Ferndale Road, Little Rock. Arrangements are by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.

Otis Boyd

Otis Boyd, 77, of Pine Bluff passed November 7, 2014 at Jeffereson Regional Medical Center. He was born April 4, 1937 in Cornerstone, Arkansas to the late John and Rosie Scott Boyd.

Linda Lamb

MONTICELLO - Linda Kay “K-Baby” Lamb, 59 of Monticello passed away November 11, 2014 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Survivors include her daughter, Treva Lamb of Monticello; her son, Undrea Lamb of Monticello; two godsons, ViToria Slade of Houston, Texas, and Shaydren Williams of Pine Bluff; three brothers, John Jr. and Kenneth Lamb, both of Monticello, and Bobby Lamb of Kansas City, Mo.; six sisters, Curtisteen Clary and Evelyn Ridgell, both of Monticello, Patricia Newton of Warren, Emma Johnson of Liberal, Kan., Shirley Lamb and Dorothy Ann Lamb, both of Clarksville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Veda Mitchell

JACKSONVILLE - Veda Lorell Mitchell, 67, Jacksonville, died November 11, 2014. She grew up farming and picking cotton and graduated from high school in Wabbaseka, Ark. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education from UAPB. She taught at Jenkins Memorial Children’s Center in Pine Bluff, Ark. and was a substitute teacher in Jefferson County. She was baptized July 4th, 1970 and began attending the Worldwide Church of God. Veda is survived by children, Joe (Melanie), James Mitchell and Kelly (Larry) Smith; grandchild, Cody Mitchell; seven brothers and sisters.

Ruby Lee

DUMAS - Mrs. Ruby W. Lee, 68, of Dumas passed Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Born July 10, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Huggins and Mary Lee Reed Williams. She was a member of Tyree Temple A.M.E. Church in Dumas serving as Sunday School Teacher, Mission President, Church Secretary and Trustee, and as Secretary at Dumas Junior High School.

Mary Roberts

On the afternoon of November 5, 2014, Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Roberts peacefully passed away at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was being visited by family members during her illness and passing. Elizabeth was 94 years old. Born near Altheimer, Arkansas, October 16, 1920. She was the youngest of six siblings born to Hall Marshall and Mary Jane Tyson Marshall.
