SHERIDAN - Beatrice Alamay Cantwell Pennington of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 24, 1922 at Bearden, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Charles Howard and Annie Bertha Pate Cantwell. Her favorite pastime was shopping. She was proud to be the matriarch of her large family, and the rich legacy she leaves behind will be treasured by each of them.

Mrs. Caroyln Rena Haynie, 51, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away November 21, 2014. She was born July 28, 1963 to John Haynie and Dorothy Mae Smith. Mr. Brandon Jermaine Curry 31, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away on November 18, 2014. He was born January 5, 1983 to Ivory Curry and the late Lee Andrew Knight.
On Wednesday, November 19, 2014, God peacefully escorted Brenda Joyce Cuba to glory. She was born August 16,1946 to the late Eursie C. Perry and the late L.V. Hudson. Brenda received her primary education in Pine Bluff, Arkansas before integration and graduated from Merrill High School in 1964. In 1998 she received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She worked for Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service. She worked at Dollarway School District for many years as an Instructional Aide. She also worked for the Jefferson County Court as a Truancy Officer for many years. In 2008 she retired from the Juvenile Justice Detention Center as a FINS Intake Officer.
