LANCASTER, TEXAS - Mr. Mark Reginald Wilkins, 55, of Lancaster, Texas passed Thursday, December 18, 2014. Funeral Arrangements will be made by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.

Bobby Reed

SHERIDAN - Truly an extraordinary life story reflecting the grit and strength of a great generation in rural Arkansas, Bobby Gene Reed of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 21, 1935 at Rowell, Arkansas, the son of the late Garvin Huston Reed and Effie Elizabeth Roberts Reed. Born on a farm as a sharecropper’s son, he raised a great family and retired ultimately as president of the local railroad union. He was a member of Wesley Methodist Church in Pine Bluff, where he and his wife lived for over 50 years before moving to Sheridan. He was a locomotive engineer with Union Pacific for 42 years, and was an active member of the Railroad Union, having served as union president for five years.

Bobby Allen

MONTICELLO - Bobby Gene Allen, age 75 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born on March 5, 1939 in Drew County to the late Thomas Lee and Linnie Marie Calhoun Allen. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dois Willis.

LAKE VILLAGE - Clint Burton, 30 of Lake Village, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Knoxville, Tenn. He was born December 14, 1983 in Lake Village to Sheryl Kay Ross Burton and the late, Larry Burton.

Adam Humphrey, Sr.

HUMPHREY - Mr. Adam Charles Humphrey, Sr., 68, of Pine Bluff passed Saturday, December 13, 2014. He was born in Sheridan, Ark. to the late Charlie Humphrey and Selina (Bennett) Watson.

Frances Moore

GRAPEVINE - Frances Elvina Reynolds Hudson Moore, 81, of Grapevine, died Wednesday, December 17th. Survivors, husband, Loy Moore; sons, Howard Wayne Hudson (Mary Kay) and Wallace A. “Buddy” Hudson (Pam); daughters, Rebecca Ann Crouch (John), Mary Harris (Dennis), Brenda Alexander (Lloyd), and Pat Whitehead (Demus); brother, Charles Reynolds; sister, Betty Vailes; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services are 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20th at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery in Grapevine. Sam Aaron, age 77, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, December 6, 2014. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.

Cynthia Vassaur

ALTHEIMER - Cynthia Parthena “Pat” Cantrell Vassaur, of Altheimer/Springdale, Arkansas, was born on Nov. 6, 1928, in England, Arkansas. She passed into eternal life on Dec. 3, 2014. Her family came from northwest Alabama in the 1880’s. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church in Wabbaseka, AR. She was an active realtor for 48 years. Pat was a wonderful and loving mother to all of her family, and she will be greatly missed.

Margaret McGaughy

LITTLE ROCK - Margaret Allene Faulk McGaughy, age 71, of Little Rock passed away Monday, December 1, 2014. She was born April 6, 1943 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Arnold Faulk and Allene Cox Faulk. She is preceded in death by her son, Richard McGaughy.

MAUMELLE - Reverend Wilbert Gray, 65 of Maumelle, Arkansas passed away Monday December 1, 2014 in John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Lillian Rippy

FORDYCE - Mrs. Lillian Nelline Rippy, 91 of Fordyce, joined her loved ones in Heaven Thursday evening, December 4th, 2014. Nelline was first and foremost a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker. She was a cashier early in life and later worked as a part-time bookkeeper for Sidney, her husband. Nelline was a dedicated Christian lady who was loved by all who knew her. As stated in Isaiah 66:2, she was “humble and contrite in spirit”. She had a servant’s heart and was so caring toward others.

WARREN - Juanita Stewart Temple, age 89, of Warren, AR, died Friday December 5. Survivors are 4 sons Michael Temple and spouse Pattie, Lindale, TX, Phillip Temple and spouse Dot, Sherwood, AR, Timothy Temple, Pangburn, AR, Jerry Temple and spouse Tammy, Alexander, AR. 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
