STAR CITY — Rebecca Charlene Rainbolt, 63 of Star City died Wednesday at her home. She was born May 30, 1950 in Pine Bluff to the late Oliver Franklin and Martha Charlene Brown. She was a member of Glendale Church of Christ, she retired after 30 years from the Lincoln County Courthouse and Arkansas Department of Corrections. She also ran “Mamaw’s Daycare” in her home to help young mothers.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Rainbolt; and one grandson, Kris Davis.
Survivors include three sons, Willie Jett of Tyler, Texas, Wayne Jett of Star City and Brad Rainbolt of Star City; one daughter, Kimberly Brockling of Woodlawn; two stepdaughters, Christine Imwalle of Woodland, Wash. and Bonnie Miller of Portland, Ore.; three brothers, Johnny Brown, Tommy Brown and Mike Brown, all of Star City; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gid Walters officiating. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Sons and Grandsons will be pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Chad McCabe and Trey Jett. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lincoln County Relay for Life.
