SHERRILL — Peggy Ann Green Williams, 66, of Sherrill, passed away Sunday morning, December 15, 2013 at her home.
Born April 9, 1947 at Monticello, she was a daughter of the late Earl Green and Lennie Mea Smith Green.
Mrs. Williams was a 1965 graduate of Smackover High School, and a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church.
She worked as a bank teller before and after her 20+ year career at Maranatha Christian School and Church where she served in various capacities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda “Penny” Moreau.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her loving husband, Marvin “Bear” Williams, to whom she would have celebrated their 43rd anniversary on January 5, 2014; she is also survived by two loving daughters, Stefanie Daniels (Maurice) and Katie Webb (Randall); five grandchildren, Reece, McKenna, Whitney,Bailey, Wesley, and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 2:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Brother Terry “Butch” Frye officiating.
Burial will follow in Flat Bayou Cemetery at Altheimer. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
