Homecoming Services for Mrs. Patty Jean Wilson-Banks will be held at 11:00a.m. Friday August 15, 2014- Family Church 2500 Highway 104 Exit 30, Pine Bluff, Ark. Pastor Brian Warth, Elder Lewis Jarrett, Chaplain Bruce Cunningham, Officiating. Eulogy will be by Chaplain Bruce Cunningham, Patty the youngest of six siblings was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and trusted friend to many… She went to be with the heavenly Father on July 19, 2014 after a long term illness. She was born in Warren, Ark. on June 09, 1942 to Archie L. Brown, Sr. and Maude Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Dwight Wayne Bactad, her sister Martha Hayes and brother Archie Brown, Jr. She is survived by her husband Dr. Leonard Wilson-Banks, II; her daughter Sophia Chesser, sisters Bernice Johnson, Mary Copeland, Betty Nichols, Grandson Michael Dwight Chesser, and a host of step-children, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and Friends. Patty was a tireless Servant of the Gospel ministry to the very end of her life. Patty served as the Chairman of The Gospel Light Ministries Intercessors since 1992. She was ordained and Commissioned as an Evangelist with The United Evangelical Fellowship Ministries in 1990. She co-founded the Gospel Light Ministries and the Gospel Light Hour radio broadcast ( KPRO Radio, Riverside, California) in 1997. Patty co-hosted a one-hour per week live broadcast from 1997-2000. She was the Gospel Light Chapel (Youth Training School, Chino, California) Volunteer Co-ordinator. Patty was the Director of Manna Home, a Christian residential Home for Women and Children at Santa Rosa, California prior to relocating to Southern California and Ark.,God has sustained Her through many trying times..
