Pat White, 90, of Pine Bluff, Ark., passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Born March 28, 1923, in England, Ark., she was a daughter of the late William Emmery and Lyda Ellen McCrary Patterson. As a child she lived in the DeWitt area and Southeast Arkansas. She moved to the Pine Bluff area in the early 1940s.
Her family had been in the fish market business for over sixty-five years. She ran the Buffalo Fish Market, before opening Pat’s Fish Market in Pine Bluff. She sold fresh fish to patrons in the Jefferson County area for over forty-five years.
In 1960, she married Robert G. White. They spent the next forty years together until his death in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Johnny & Jimmy Frizielle; one daughter, Shirley Ann Miller; and one brother.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Frizielle, and wife, Barbara Ann, of Rison and Gene Frizielle, and wife, Sue Carole, of Pine Bluff; her ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia Kyzer, of Little Rock.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2014, in Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Sammy Alverson officiating. Friends may sign the online register at www.ralphrobinsonandson.com.
