MONTICELLO – Jackie Lynn Berryman, age 66 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born August 13, 1947 in Monticello to the late John Drew Berryman and Edna Palmer Berryman.

LITTLE ROCK - Carl Lee Cogshell, age 52, of Little Rock, Ark. died Sunday. Survivors are his Parents: Arthur and Versey Cogshell, 3 daughters: Ercia, Dr. Andrea, and Carmen, 5 Grandchildren, 3 brothers: Tracey, Corey,and Tony, 4 Sisters: Victoria, Treva, and Olivia. Grandmother Everlina Iverson. Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon Saturday July 19, 2014 Grace Temple 4217 South Shackleford Road, Little Rock,Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00-7:30 p.m. Friday also at Grace Temple.

Mr. Frank Elbert Seals, Jr., 70, of Pine Bluff, passed Thursday, 26, 2014. He was born in Wabbaseka to the late Franks Seals, Sr. and Essie Lean (Bohannon) Crawford. Survivors Include: wife, Eunita R. (Rice) Seals of Pine Bluff; daughters Eulanda Seals King of Dallas, Texas, Euleah Seals of Conway, brothers, Charles Rice of Pine Bluff, Roy Lee Seals of England, Carlton Seals of Tucson, Ariz., Wayne Seals of Bethesda, MD, Kim Seals of Little Rock, Willie Seals of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Brenda Peoples of Little Rock, Marilyn Enright of Pine Bluff, Beverly Riggins of Dallas, Texas; One Grandchild.

Mrs. Yvonne Branscomb Treadwell, 77, of Pine Bluff, passed Friday, June 27, 2014. She was born in Newport to the late Joseph Benjamin Branscomb, Sr., and Luzeida (bell) Branscomb.

James Moore

STAR CITY - James “Jim” Kenneth Moore, 77, of Star City, died June 23, 2014. He was born on March 4, 1937 in Dumas, to the late Clyo Moore and Wilma Waller Moore. Mr. Moore retired from the United States Navy.

Frances Krzysztyniar

Frances Spoust Krzysztyniar, 93, of Pine Bluff died May 29, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Pine Bluff. She was the daughter of the late Charles J. and M. Frances Grochowska Spoust.

Mark Branson

DUMAS - Mark Alan “Tid” Branson, 49 of Dumas died June 23, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born February 8, 1965 in Dumas. Mark was a graduate of Watson Chapel High School class of 1983, University of Arkansas at Monticello, class of 1987 majoring in Agri business. He was an employee of Helena Chemical for 7 years, a soybean and cotton consultant and a farmer, having last worked for Pickens & Son. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Gould. Mark‘s grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. J.O. Knight, Mr. and Mrs. Woodie Castleberry, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Branson Sr. preceded him in death. Survivors are his parents, Woodie & Nedra Knight Castleberry of Gould; one daughter, Autumn Branson of Little Rock, one sister, Judith (Eddie) Holcomb of Sheridan, one Step daughter, Brandy (John) Moyar of Gould, one niece, Jennifer (Jim Bob) Wentz of Sheridan, one nephew Tyler (Jodi) Threlkeld of Russellville, great niece, Addyson Wentz and one great nephew, Drake Threlkeld and other family members and friends. Funeral services held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 27 at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dubs Byers officiating and visitation held one hour prior to funeral service, with burial in Dark Corner Cemetery, Gould. Memorials may be to Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 328, Gould, Ark. Arrangements are by Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas.

Ruby Franklin

LAKE VILLAGE - Ruby Lee Griswood Franklin 91, of Lake Village, Arkansas, formally of Pine Bluff, went to be with her Lord and Savior June 24th, 2014 in Little Rock, Ark. She was born December 3, 1922 to Ora Amma and John Baxter (JB) Griswood of Dermott Ark. Ms. Ruby taught for a while after her stint working in the aviation industry during WWII, raised a family, returned to work and retired in 1997 from NCTR.

NEW EDINBURG - Janelle Marie Briant, age 47, of New Edinburg, Ark., died Tuesday, June 24th at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. She was born May 31st , 1967 in Richmond, California, a daughter of Gene Briant and Joyce Walton Briant, New Edinburg, Ark. She was a graduate of New Edinburg High School in 1984 and a graduate of Louisiana Tech University in 1989 with a Degree in Business Administration. WHITE HALL - Floyd Wayne Adcock, age 77, of White Hall, Ark., died Tuesday, June 24th at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born December 9th, 1936 in Warren, a son of the late Floyd Lee Adcock and Jessie Reppond Adcock. He was a retired employee of Gaylord Paper Company with 36 years of experience and a Baptist.
