Kenneth Terry

LINDALE - Services for Mr. Kenneth Ray Terry, age 76, of Lindale, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale with Pastors David Hickey and Roy Devisscher officiating. Mr. Terry died on Friday, September 11, 2015. He was born on September 21, 1938 in Altheimer, Arkansas to Jewel and Ada Grice Terry and was formerly of Arkansas before moving to Lindale 15 years ago. Mr. Terry served in the US Army and was a member of the Community Christian Fellowship Church. He was a former Deputy Sheriff in Louisiana, Gas Line Superintendent, an avid reader of history, loved wood working, and was a draftsman.

Marjorie Jones

Marjorie Crosby Jones, 90, died peacefully at her home in Pine Bluff, Ark., on September 10, 2015. She was born in Memphis, Tenn., on July 22, 1925, the only child of Alanson Sylvester and Marion Deaton Crosby. She grew up in Memphis and Pine Bluff. After graduating from Pine Bluff High School, Marjorie attended Memphis State University. She met and fell in love with Charles Edgar Hart (Chasie), who would become her husband of 37 years until his death in 1982.

June Heird

SHERIDAN - June Heird, age 68, of Sheridan, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. She was born June 4, 1947 in Pine Bluff, the daughter of the late Ira Moore and Montez Farmer Moore. Ms. Heird is preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul Jeffery Heird; and daughter, Leslie Hudson.

Willie Branch Jr.

Willie “Jack” Branch Jr. departed this life on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was 65 years old. Jack was born January 11, 1950 to Willie & Marvell Branch, the firstborn of nine children, in Dumas, AR. Jack was very studious as a young man and graduated from Wolf Project High School as valedictorian in 1966. He attended AM&N College (UAPB) graduating with honors in 1969. He continued his educational goals by attending Arkansas State University to complete his masters and Ed.D in 1976. He spent 42 years in the educational system in Blytheville, AR as a teacher and principal. He retired in 2011. He was a minister of the gospel for over 20 years & pastored Unity Evangelistic Ministries in Blytheville, AR. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeremiah Branch. Jack is survived by his wife of 46 years, Electa Branch; one son, Willie (Rita) Branch III of Moundville, AL; four grandchildren: Tiffany Branch, Willie Branch IV, VaShaun Wiggins and Jareah Branch; two great-grandchildren: Ja’Niya Branch and Takayla McClendon; his parents, Willie & Marvell Branch; seven siblings: Marvia (Thomas) Lackey of Ft. Worth, TX; Victor (LaVerne) Branch of Jackson, MS; Dr. Vye Branch-Watson of Jonesboro, AR; Kenneth (Dana) Branch of Ivanhoe, IL; Dwayne (Anita) Branch of Springfield, VA; Darrell Branch of Watson, AR; David (Geraldine) Branch of Potomac, MD. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends all around the world. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Blytheville, AR with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m.. A second visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 11:00 AM-12:00 p.m. at The Family Church in Whitehall, AR with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. The interment/graveside service will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Blytheville, AR beginning promptly at 11:00 a.m. Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola, AR has charge of the services. MONTICELLO - Edgar L. Wyles, age 84 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born September 3, 1930 in Monticello to the late A.B. Owens and Johnnie Wyles and was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Shedd Wyles.

Gertrude Green, 81, of Pine Bluff, passed July 07, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born June 25, 1934 in Pickens, Ark., to the late Fred and Mattie Grisby Green.

On July 3, 2015, Kula Makris Kumpuris passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born February 21, 1917 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Annie Zack and George Andrew Makris.
