Nola Ellene Oliver Wilhelm Appling, 85, of Pine Bluff, passed away peacefully at Trinity Village Medical Center in Pine Bluff following a lengthy battle with dementia on Sunday, November 24, 2013.
She was born November 14, 1928 to James and Elsie Tarkington Oliver in Stuttgart, Ark.
Mrs. Appling was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Louis C. Wilhelm and Orbie Appling; sister, Elva Raabe; and brothers, James, R.B. and Donald Oliver.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra (John) Gallegly and Pamela (Bill) Dixon, both of Sheridan; granddaughters, Amanda Coleman of Sheridan, Lauren Adams of Fayetteville and grandson, Chris Dixon of Sheridan; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart with Reverend Hart Moore officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4-6 p.m. at Robinson’s.
