DALLAS — Michael Patrick Green, age 52, of Dallas, Texas, died at his mother’s house Saturday, February 22, 2014. Mr. Green was born March 17, 1961, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the son of Bobby Ray and Betty Pemberton Green.
Mr. Green was reared and educated in San Antonio, Texas and Pine Bluff, Ark., graduating from Watson Chapel High School in 1979. He also attended both the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He was a Baptist by faith and the owner-operator of Acute Medical Supply Company in Garland, Texas. He was an artist and he enjoyed listening to music.
Mr. Green is survived by a son, Adam Michael Green of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Georgia Green of McKinney, Texas; mother, Betty Pemberton of Star City; father and step-mother, Bobby Ray and Mary Ann Green of Pine Bluff; brother and sister-in-law, John and Sherrie Green of San Antonio, Texas and a sister and brother-in-law, Trudie and Randy Bolen of Star City; former spouse, Cindy Green of McKinney, Texas and many lifelong friends.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with Reverend Gary Traylor officiating.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 3100 Samford Avenue, Shreveport, La. 71103.
