Joe Lilburn Scott, 72, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, March 21st, 2015 after a brief battle with cancer. Born September 17th, 1942 in Little Rock, Ark., a son of Opal Grice and Clarence Scott, he was a life-long resident of Pine Bluff.

BRADENTON, FLORIDA - Ray Henry Ederington, age 92, of Bradenton, Fla. (formerly of Warren, Ark.), died Friday March 20, 2015. Born October 10, 1922 in Warren, Ark., a son of the late Vester Vance Ederington and Ophie Helen Whitaker Ederington. He was a retired construction worker and the widower of Lois “Cricket” Parker Ederington.

LITTLE ROCK - Barbara Sue McKenney, 62, of Little Rock, passed away March 20, 2015. Born in Goliad, Texas to Owen Lewis Rylie and Ruby Lee Malone Rylie, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of nursing experience in critical care, surgical care and clinical research at hospitals in Little Rock and Pine Bluff. She was also a published author of “The Ancient Necklace.”

WHITE HALL - Alvin Eugene Green, 85, of White Hall, Ark., died Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born September 16, 1929, in the Troy Community, Drew County, Ark., to David and Helen Tuggle Green.

RENTON, WASH. - Theodore Smith was born July 20, 1928, in Altheimer, Arkansas, to his late mother, Lucille Smith Sadler of Altheimer, Ark. and Johnnie Parker of Grady, Ark. Theodore spent his early years in Jefferson County, Arkansas. On March 9, Theodore passed away in Renton, Washington with his family at his side.

BEARDEN - Vivian Margaret McMurry Nash, 87, of Bearden died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. She is survived by her husband Charles Roland Nash; two daughters, Mary Burford, and Mae Beth McMan.
