RISON - Lallie Mae Chism Francis of Rison, went home to be with the Lord Sunday June 15, 2014 at the age of 101 years. She was born on March 2, 1913 in Danville, a daughter of the late Jesse and Laura Hill Chism.
Mrs. Francis was a homemaker, and she loved to cook, quilt, garden, but most of all she loved the Lord with all her heart. Together she and her late husband Reverend William S. Francis helped build the Full Gospel Church in Sheridan. They along with their children spent many days and nights there on the campgrounds. She was a very strong Christian lady until the end. Lallie was preceded in death by her husbands, Eual David Parson & Rev. William Simon Francis; daughter, Mary Vallance; sons, John Ed Francis, Chris Francis, Eual David Parson; and two brothers, Lee and Ray Chism.
She is survived by two sons, Jessie Francis (Twana), William L. Francis (Kim); 14 daughters, Mildred Alford, Wanda Bullock, Minnie Stone, Martha Bullock, Susie Lester (Ray), Betty Jo Jackson, Doris Cunningham (Edward), Annie Mae McCann (Jimmy), Marie Cummings (Kenneth), Chyrel Rynders, Mary Lee Harrell, Linda Watters, Joyce Simmons (Emmitt), Jeanette Goodin (Dale); four siblings, Annie Holt , Rose Stevenson, Grace Rollins & Bill Chism; 200 grandchildren, 242 great grandchildren, and 60 great- great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bert Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Cypress Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
