TUCKER - In profound sorrow the professional and courteous staff of the Christian Way Funeral Home sorrowfully announces the earthly departure of Ms. JohnEtta Bryant,89 of Tucker, Arkansas. Ms. Bryant answered to her name on August 24, 2014 and said “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith, now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness, which the lord the righteous Judge shall give me at that day.”
Ms. Bryant’s journey began on December 25, 1924 to the late John and LueIda Moore.
Survivors include her daughter Wendell H. (Tony) Burton of Columbus, Ohio. Her son – Elisha (Heddy) Wesley Jr of Tucker, Arkansas. Stepchildren – Toriace, Herbert Jr, Pearlie Mae, Henry, Mary, Shirley, L.B., Jewel, James, Dollie, Wilma, Rena, Raymond, Robert and Eddie Bryant. Her baby sister- Charlean Freeman. Grandchildren – Victor L. Bell , Brenda D. Womack, Eddie Wayne Bell, Stephanie Bell Taylor, Jonathan Bell, Allen Wesley Sr., Unlunda Tindall, Phyllis L. Burrell, Tony L. Wesley, LaTunda Edwards, Deborah Draughon, Gregory L. Wesley and Anthony E. Burton.
Funeral Service will be 2:30p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at New St. Hurricane Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens by Christian Way Funeral Home.
