HOT SPRINGS — James W. Lunsford, age 82, of Hot Springs, passed away on April 2 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. Waiting for him at the pearly gates were the love of his life, Glyndol Lunsford; his son, Randy Lunsford; and granddaughter, Andrea Dickerson.
He is survived by six children, Leroy (Terry) Lunsford of Alsea, Oregon, Rodney (Patty) Lunsford of Fossil, Oregon, Linda Dickerson of Hot Springs, Rhonda (Mark) King of Magnolia, Debbie (Bob) Roberts of Stockton, California, and Dianna (Brian) Gaulden of Soulsbyville, California; eight grandchildren, Tai Lunsford, Aaron Lunsford, Cameron King, Anna Russell, Andrew Dickerson, Brian Lunsford, Abby King, and Sarah Gaulden; two great-grandchildren, Lexi Lunsford and Adia Lunsford; two brothers, Charlie Lunsford and Ray Lunsford; three sisters, Shirley Cox, Linda Eichinger, and Matilda Chavis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life honoring this extraordinary and dedicated man to be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 11 at 222 Leigh Circle in Hot Springs.
