In profound sorrow the professional and courteous staff of the Christian Way Funeral Home sorrowfully announces the earthly departure of Ms. Ivory Jean Kanneh 57 of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Ms. Kanneh answered to her name on August 21, 2014 and said “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith, now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness, which the lord the righteous Judge shall give me at that day.”
Ms. Kanneh’s journey began on February 7, 1957 to the late Issac Harris and Georgia Mae Bradley.
She was employed by Pine Bluff School District as a Custodian for many years, until her retirement.
She leaves to cherish her memories her sons- Anthony Johnson, DeWayne Johnson, Joseph Kanneh, Michael Kanneh and Zachery Jones. Daughters- Daphane Johnson, Katherine Johnson and Ashley Jones. Brothers- Monzell Moore, Glen Owens, Arzo Bradley and Terry Bradley. Sisters- Jacquline Gill and Pattie Means. 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at New Community Baptist Church by Apostle Patrick Lockett. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens by Christian Way Funeral Home. Visitation will be today from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
