CRYSTAL SPRINGS — Fred Waymack, Jr., 76, of Crystal Springs, died Sunday, November 17, 2013.
He was born August 26, 1937 in Pine Bluff, son of Fred Waymack, Sr. and Maxine Barrett Waymack.
Mr. Waymack was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
He worked as the assistant director of Hestand’s Stadium and Southeast Arkansas Economic Development District in Pine Bluff for many years.
Mr. Waymack was a member of First Baptist Church in Pine Bluff before moving to Crystal Springs following his retirement. He was currently a member of Royal Baptist Church in Hot Springs.
He enjoyed duck hunting and striper fishing.
Mr. Waymack was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Carnell Garey Waymack, whom he married April 25, 1963 in Sherrill; and his parents.
Survivors include his son, Ronald Lee Waymack of Crystal Springs; daughter, Leslie Anne Waymack of Hot Springs; two granddaughters, Cassie Leigh Bryant of Conway and Adrienne Nicole Catlett of Yucca Valley, California; and one great-grandchild on the way.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, November 21, 2013 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with John Godwin officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until service time at Robinson’s.
