ALTHEIMER — Eugenio Voscas Esquivel, 88, of Altheimer, Ark., joined his wife and Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.
Eugenio or “Geno” as he was often called by those who knew him, was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jasso Esquivel, whom he was married to for 65 years; parents, Esteban and Julia Vasquez Esquivel, brothers, Julian, Andres and Ernesto; sisters, Irene and Madelaluz and a daughter, Julie Sanders.
Survivors include his grandson, Christopher James Esquivel; brothers, Antonio, Jesus, Leopoldo and Guadalupe; sister, Conception; sons, Eugene “Jr” (Joyce), Tony (Becky), Jimmy (Loraine), Johnny (Jan), Steve (Glenda) and Pete (Jo Ann); daughters, Linda (Jimmy) Craig, Dora (Jerry) Craig, Mary (Joe) Craig, Nancy (Walter) Burgess and Lisa (Homer) Martinez; thirty-nine grandchildren and seventy-four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Friday, at Robinson’s. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 25, 2014, Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Donald Manning officiating. Burial will follow at Flat Bayou Cemetery. Online register at www.ralphrobinsonandson.com
