Dorothy Glover

STAR CITY — Dorothy “Duck” Jean Owen Glover, 84, of Star City died Tuesday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born October 31, 1929, in Palmyra to the late Howard and Etta Collins Owen. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Star City and was retired from C&L Electric.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, William Carroll Glover, Sr. and two sons, William Carroll Glover, Jr. and Lyndell Vance Glover.

Survivors include one son, Stephen (Lorna) Owen Glover of Little Rock; three granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Leek Cemetery with Bro. Elwin Ollar officiating. Visitation is 1:00 until funeral time at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Phillip Tucker, Mark Lewis, Keith Hoyt, Keith Heslep, Jason Ross and Judge Sam Stephens. Memorials may be made to Susan G.
